Old Capitol Inn

Located in the heart of downtown Jackson, the historic Old Capitol Inn boasts 24 designer suites and is just minutes away from all that Jackson has to offer – from its diverse dining and nightlife to area attractions, the TelCom Center and the Mississippi State Fairgrounds. Our boutique hotel includes a New Orleans style courtyard, swimming pool, rooftop garden, secured gated parking and complimentary wireless internet access. We also have function space which can accommodate groups from as intimate as 10 to as large as 600 reception style. We provide in-house catering services created by our highly acclaimed chef Bruce Cain, and our Sun Room is open Monday – Friday for lunch.

All of our rates include a complimentary “Hospitality Hour” nightly from 5-6 p.m. with wine and cheese, as well as a full Southern-style breakfast each morning. To better transport your group, we have recently acquired a “boutique shuttle bus” which can accommodate up to 14 passengers. The shuttle is ideal for transportation to off-site dinners, events and the Jackson Convention Complex, among other locations, for a nominal fee.
