Standard Life Building

King Edward Hotel

The King Edward is open. The ribbon cutting ceremony will take place on December 17th. The 186 room Hilton Garden Inn takes up the first eight floors with a Seattle’s Best Coffee and the King Edward Grill and Bar on the first floor. The 64 apartments are all leased with residents moving in the first of January. The grand opening celebration is scheduled for February 17th. Roberts Walthall Hotel

The 203 room hotel, formerly known as the Edison Walthall Hotel, is in the midst of a $12 million historic restoration. The St. Louis based Roberts Brothers are renovating the hotel from top to bottom and will hold a grand reopening in early 2010.

United States Federal Courthouse

Work is ongoing on the $122 million 350,000 square foot courthouse. Drive by and you will see the facade being installed. The facility should be completed in summer 2010.

Foundry Lofts
