Jackson's most historic neighborhood is joining the excitement of the Town Creek Arts Festival by opening its doors to give visitors a unique view of the buildings, churches, and businesses that make Downtown Jackson home. From 2 to 5 PM, Saturday, November 1st, take architectural tours, get access to magnificent views, eat, shop, and listen to live music. Join us as we put “Downtown on Display.”
The Jackson Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Mississippi Department of Archives and History will provide a driving tour that will start at City Hall and take visitors on a 30 minute drive of Downtown Jackson highlighting historic sites and new developments not included on the walking tour. Driving tours are scheduled for 2 PM, 2:45 PM, and 3:30 PM.
A shuttle service will also be on hand to transport people to and from locations on the tour map below.
